Handwriting to Text — Mobile Application
1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Handwriting to Text mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use or access the App.
2. Description of Service
Handwriting to Text provides optical character recognition (OCR) and AI-powered text extraction tools that allow users to:
- Capture or upload images of handwritten and printed text.
- Import multi-page PDF documents.
- Convert scanned images into editable digital text.
- Export recognized text into formats including Plain Text (.txt), Portable Document Format (.pdf), and Microsoft Word (.docx).
- Save and organize conversion history locally on the device.
3. User Content & Intellectual Property
A. Your Content
Ownership: You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights to all photos, documents, and text that you scan, convert, or export using the App.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary legal rights, permissions, or copyright authorization to scan and convert any documents or images you process through the App.
B. App Intellectual Property
All design elements, user interfaces, branding, software code, graphics, and trademarks associated with Handwriting to Text are the exclusive property of Pyvoke and are protected under international copyright and intellectual property laws.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Scan, convert, or distribute any illegal, defamatory, obscene, or fraudulent material.
- Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or extract source code from the App.
- Circumvent or attempt to bypass free scan quota limits or subscription security controls.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the App.
5. Free Quotas and Pro Subscriptions
A. Free Tier Quota
- New users receive a daily quota of free scans (managed via Remote Configuration).
- Free scans reset on a 24-hour cycle and cannot be transferred or rolled over.
B. Pro Subscription
Upgrading to Handwriting to Text Pro grants access to:
- Unlimited scans and text conversions.
- Unlimited document history and multi-page batch exports.
- Premium AI recognition models.
- Ad-free experience and priority support.
C. Billing and Auto-Renewal
- Payment will be charged to your Google Play Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current monthly or annual period at the specified rate.
D. Cancellation and Refunds
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time by going to Google Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Refunds are subject to Google Play's Refund Policies. We do not issue direct cash refunds for unused subscription periods.
6. Accuracy and AI Disclaimer
Recognition Quality: Handwriting recognition accuracy depends on various real-world factors, including handwriting legibility, lighting, camera focus, image resolution, and paper condition.
As-Is Basis:While we use state-of-the-art AI and OCR technology, the App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without guarantees of 100% character precision. You are advised to review and verify extracted text before using it for critical legal, medical, or financial purposes.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pyvoke and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, documents, profits, or business interruption arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
8. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party tools such as Google Play Services, Google AdMob, Firebase, and RevenueCat. Your interactions with these services are governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App without prior notice if you breach any provision of these Terms or engage in fraudulent activities.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to consumer mobile software, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
11. Changes to Terms
We may revise and update these Terms at our discretion. Any modifications will become effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms with a revised "Last Updated" date.
